Here at East Side the desire of the steering team of MOPS is to provide a safe, encouraging, environment where mom's desire to come and grow intimately in their relationship with Christ and each other.
 
We are a fun, inspriring, and encouraging group of MOMS of preschoolers who meet to eat and socialize without interruptions, so crafts with sharp scissors, and recharge our batteries while are children are cared for in a loving environment around the corner and out of earshot!
 
Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month (Sept-May) from 10am-12noon. Enjoy breakfast at your own pace while listening to dyanamic speakers on topics that matter to you. Childcare and a snack are provided for children birth through age five. Evening meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month (Sept-May) from 6:30-8:30 pm. Childcare is available for the evening meetings but there is a fee of $5 for the first child and $1 for each child after (max is $8). We also have monthly outings that we try to make free or at a low cost to you!
 
The fee for EAST SIDE MOPS this year is:

This includes :
-your MOPS International Fee (which includes lots of goodies like a one-year subscription to MOMSense magazine, weekly MOM e-mail filled with encouragement, MyMOPS online benefits, and the 2009 Theme Book Life on PLanet MOM.
-plus this cover your crafts, speakers, kids snacks, etc.
-and don't forget during the morning meetings free childcare is made available to us by our wonderful MOPPET workers. Please don't forget to thank them.

 Holiday Homes Tour

 

 

Jennifer Hildebrand was here in September to share her heart as her family prepares to go to Africa next year. The Holiday homes tour is a Fundraiser for their mission. The tour is Friday, December 4th,  5-9 pm and Saturday,  December 5th, 2-8pm. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the tour.

 

You will tour six Blue Springs area homes, there will be live holiday music and refreshments, and beautiful holiday decorations. Bring your friends and neighbors and make it an event.

                

The Tour headquarters is located at Woods Chapel Fellowship, 701 NW Woods Chapel Road, Blue Springs, MO. On Friday Doors open at 4:30 pm and Saturday at 1:30 pm. While there you will pick up tour packets and addresses and meet Bill & Jennifer Hildebrand.

 

One of the homes featured is Rodger & Erin Sprouse, Erin was the Coordinator and member of MOPS for several years.
